Theo Posthumus is a freelance producer, mixer, and engineer, working in the Greater Toronto Area.

Growing up in a musical home, Theo developed a passion for music at an early age. He began teaching guitar, playing in bands, and recording at age 15, which eventually led to his career in production.

At 24, Theo works regularly as house engineer at Chalet Recording Studio (renowned for projects with Rush, The Barenaked Ladies, and Chantel Kreviazuk), as well as The Rhythm Complex, his private mixing and
overdub studio. Being freelance has brought him to many studios in the GTA and allows him to go wherever the music is, occasionally including the bands
own space.

In the studio, Theo brings a unique approach and fresh perspective to each project. His levelheaded approach,
strong work ethic, and musical experience give him the ability to adapt to each projects unique requirements.
Whether working with an established label artist or a new indie band, each client receives his unparalleled
commitment to quality and acute attention to detail.

The last several years have seen Theo's career move forward exponentially, working and collaborating with
some of the best bands, producers, and studios that Toronto has to offer. With a busy schedule on the horizon, the future promises to be just as exciting.
